Just 2 km away, and accessible by footpaths directly from the farm, the «Scénoféerie de Semblançay» is a magnificent historic re-enactment, involving 450 actors, horses, and a music and light show. First presented in 1992, this show now attracts some 10,000 visitors each year, and is the most thrilling show of its kind in the Loire valley area.

In the magnificent surroundings of the Park of the château de la Source, once the country house of Jacques de Beaune – who was finance minister under king François 1st, – storytellers Honoré Pottier and his grandson Benjamin tell the Story and Legend of La Source.

You will hear the moving voices of famous French actors including Jean Carmet, Richard Bohringer, Yves Rénier and Bernard Menez, who have volunteered to take part in this spectacular evening show.
